Coconut milk is used extensively in South Indian, Thai & Sri Lankan cuisines, and this powder is the easiest and most convenient way to take advantage of it. Vegan and Gluten free, it easily dissolves in warm water to provide a light creamy liquid. It is ideal for use in any recipe calling for coconut milk, but also really handy if you just want to give something a coconut boost by adding a spoon or two, particularly in noodle soups and curries. And of course it is the best way to avoid having that half can of coconut milk hiding in the back of the fridge!
We recommend using 1 tablespoon of coconut milk powder to 1 cup of warm water to make coconut milk, but more can be used when a thicker consistency is preferred.
