Chervil

About this product
Chervil is closely related to parsley, and is an integral herb to classic French cooking. Its flavour is similar to parsley, but more subtle and discreet, with faint notes of aniseed. It is one of the four herbs in the French fines herbes mix, along with tarragon, chives and parsley, and in French cooking it is used with poultry, seafood and spring vegetables (such as baby carrots). Dried chervil should be added towards or at the end of cooking, to preserve its delicate flavour. It is very good added to a homemade burger mix, and perfect for adding to salads and omelettes, where it is essential in the classic omelette aux fines herbes.
