This is such an excellent store cupboard standby – hot, smoky chipotle chillies in an equally hot and smoky sauce. Imported from Mexico, these tinned chipotles are great used to give a chilli or other spicy stew a big blast of flavour, and they are perfect for garnishing tacos, nachos and burritos. They can be served separately as a side dish, and lovers of hot food will be happy to add one of these to a Ploughman’s or even a cheese platter.
