A new addition to our range of Mexican chilli pastes, this one stars the Green Jalapeno. Made by Especia Chillies in Mexico, it is free from artificial flavours and additives, consisting of 87% jalapeno chilli combined with onion, garlic and sunflower oil. The Jalapeno chilli is one of the most widely used in the world, with its distinctive fresh, grassy flavour and plenty of heat, still keeping a lovely balance between the two. This Jalapeno paste retains these qualities, together with the vibrant green colour this chilli has. It works really well in salsas, and a spoonful will give jalapeno’s distinctive flavour to any dish. Remember too that the Jalapeno is commonly used in Indian cooking, so this paste can come in very handy on curry night!
