The Naga Jolokia is one of the world’s hottest chillies, and this powder is the easiest way to introduce yourself its extreme heat and wonderful fruity flavour. The flavour is similar to Habanero, although the Naga is about twice as hot! Naga works very well in curries and any dish which has strong enough flavours included to stand up to the chilli. However much of a chilli heat lover you might be, the Naga needs to be used with caution – a pinch or two will usually be enough.
Naga powder is perfect for using when making your own curry powder, again just a pinch will be sufficient to create a fiery, flavoursome dish. This ‘fire dust’ is a challenge to even the bravest chilli lover!
