Method

  • Bring half a cup of water and half a cup of milk to the boil. Add one regular tea bag or loose tea leaves.
  • Allow to simmer for 2 minutes or longer if using loose leaves. Add ¼ teaspoon chai spices and let simmer for a further 4 minutes.
  • Add sugar as desired and strain before drinking. Alternatively, simply add ¼tsp of chai spices to cup of hot milk without adding any tea. It is delicious this way!
