Cypriot Black Pyramid Salt

Cypriot Pyramid salt is produced by a unique process of evaporation which can take up to two years, and it is this process which results in the dazzling pyramid shape of the salt flakes. It has a subtle yet deep flavour, and a wonderful flaky texture. The black version is infused with black lava, giving it a deep charcoal colour and an earthy, mineral flavour. It is best used as a decorative salt, and as such is fantastic on a tomato salad or just used as a table condiment with real colour and character.
